Terms of Service & Liability Disclaimer

Welcome to White Glove Window Cleaning. By requesting a quote, scheduling service, or allowing work to be performed, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms of Service and Liability Disclaimer.

1. General Service Acknowledgement

White Glove Window Cleaning provides professional exterior cleaning services including, but not limited to, window cleaning, screen and track cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing, and gutter cleaning.

While we take every reasonable precaution to perform our services safely and effectively, all services carry inherent risks due to the nature of the work, building materials, environmental conditions, and access limitations.

2. Assumption of Risk

By requesting, approving, or allowing services to be performed, the client acknowledges and agrees that exterior cleaning services - including window cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing, and gutter cleaning - involve inherent risks.

These risks may include, but are not limited to:

  • The discovery or increased visibility of pre-existing damage or defects

  • The loosening, failure, or breakage of aged, brittle, or improperly installed materials

  • Water intrusion through windows, doors, or structural components with existing vulnerabilities

  • Surface reactions to cleaning solutions or water pressure, including oxidation, discoloration, or staining

  • Minor disturbances to surrounding areas, including landscaping

The client voluntarily assumes all such risks, except in cases of proven negligence or willful misconduct by White Glove Window Cleaning.

3. Pre-Existing Conditions

The client acknowledges that:

  • Any existing damage to property, including but not limited to scratched, cracked, chipped, or improperly installed windows, failed window seals, oxidized frames, deteriorating caulking, loose siding, or structural deficiencies, is not the responsibility of White Glove Window Cleaning.

  • Cleaning may reveal imperfections that were not visible prior to service.

  • White Glove Window Cleaning is not responsible for any damage resulting from pre-existing conditions.

4. Window Cleaning Risks

By accepting service, the client understands and agrees:

  • Scratches, defects, or imperfections in glass may become visible after cleaning.

  • Windows with failed seals may show increased visibility of fogging or internal defects after cleaning.

  • Older windows, storm windows, and specialty systems (including but not limited to Pella-style windows) may be fragile and subject to damage during normal cleaning procedures.

  • White Glove Window Cleaning is not responsible for damage due to defective or aging window components.

5. Screens and Tracks

  • Screens are removed, cleaned, and reinstalled with care; however, older, brittle, or previously damaged screens may tear or break during handling.

  • White Glove Window Cleaning is not responsible for damage to screens or track components due to age, wear, or improper prior installation.

6. Soft Washing & Pressure Washing Services

The client acknowledges that:

  • Soft washing and pressure washing involve the use of water, cleaning agents (including sodium hypochlorite solutions), and/or pressure that may affect certain surfaces.

  • While precautions are taken to protect surrounding areas, White Glove Window Cleaning is not responsible for:

    • Damage to paint, stain, siding, stucco, or surfaces with pre-existing deterioration

    • Water intrusion through windows, doors, or building envelopes with existing vulnerabilities

    • Plant or landscaping damage despite reasonable protective measures

  • Some stains, organic growth, or discoloration may be permanent and not fully removable.

7. Gutter Cleaning

  • Gutter cleaning services are intended to remove debris and improve water flow.

  • White Glove Window Cleaning is not responsible for:

    • Pre-existing leaks, improper pitch, or drainage issues

    • Downspouts that are blocked below ground or inaccessible

    • Damage due to weakened or deteriorated gutter systems

8. Access, Utilities & Site Conditions

The client agrees to:

  • Provide safe and unobstructed access to all service areas

  • Ensure water access is available and operational (if required)

  • Remove or secure any sensitive or valuable items near work areas

White Glove Window Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are deemed unsafe.

9. Weather & Scheduling

Services may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen conditions. White Glove Window Cleaning is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • White Glove Window Cleaning’s liability for any claim arising from services performed shall be limited to the total amount paid for the services provided.

  • Under no circumstances shall White Glove Window Cleaning be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless White Glove Window Cleaning, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Pre-existing property conditions

  • Failure to disclose known issues

  • Unsafe or restricted access conditions

12. Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a quote, scheduling services, or allowing work to proceed, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service & Liability Disclaimer, including the Assumption of Risk provisions outlined above.
